I love all the details, but I wonder just how hard it is to keep everything looking so sharp.

  2. Wow! It is unique, beautiful, startling, and amazing. Even the porch furniture is different.

  4. It's beautiful to look at, but I agree, it must take a lot of work.

  5. An architect's dream becomes a house-painter's nightmare! It's all a bit fussy for my taste but I'm sure it attracts many admiring looks.

  6. It would have taken a very wealthy farmer to do this in its original days. I love the way they made the metal roof and gutter work WITH the house. Super.

  8. This would be my dream home. I loved all the unique details but I would need a full time caretaker to keep it looking sharp!

  9. Oh I like this one a lot. I wonder if they have some tricks for keeping it looking so good. I know someone who has a house with this color combination but hers doesn't have all the wonderful details that this one does.

  19. It is a different kind of roof. Not original to the house's history.

  20. Wow, this looks really kept up. I know what you mean, large houses are just too hard to clean any more for me. So glad I live in a small cozy home now. Although, l love that big front porch on the house.
