We have a lot of New Mexican locusts up in the mountains The flowers are beautiful, and they were among the first plants to appear after the fire, but their prickles are a big nuisance. We called them "pricker bushes" for years before we learned their real names.
Aren't Locust trees abundant? Yet I have never seen these blossoms!!
