Beebalm


 All I ever see is the purple/lilac beebalm.  I would love to have some of the red.

    It is my favorite flower. I lost my red bee balm this summer. Not sure why.

    I used to have some when we lived in Illinois. Loved catching up on your blog Rose. I especially loved the church photo gorgeous shot, you need to frame that one.

    A visit to the Smoky Mountains when the Scarlett bee balm is in full bloom is always a treat along the roads where the plants can get full sun. The commercial varieties are beautiful reds, too, but our property is largely shaded by ancient live oaks. So I guess we will have to keep visiting the Smokies as long as we are able!
