Nice. I admire the work that went in to this. They are set in such straight rows I'm wondering if they were pre-fabricated to go together like that. Then again it doesn't look like a new house so maybe these were all done by hand.
I love all syone houses..I vaguely remember living in one when my dad was working in an Engineering company ..when I was a kid...and feeling so cold in winter..as the house was on top of a mountain!!!
I love stone houses, but this one is sure unusual!! It almost looks like a stone trailor! It could use some trim for sure.

ReplyDeleteNice stone house! Take care, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteA lot of old world charm. If it had a thatch roof, it would look from an Irish cottage.
ReplyDeletei am thinking the stone mason is OCD.. lol... never seen a stone house like this one
ReplyDeleteAn interesting house with eye-catching stone patterns.
ReplyDeleteI like the patterns of the stone
ReplyDeleteI like it!!
ReplyDeleteWe had a house that was covered like this with stone where we use to live. It is just like it and is still standing.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a lot of thought went into how the stone was placed to create the wall. It almost has a pattern. This is a lovely house.
ReplyDeleteIt is distinctive!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the builder had a design in mind or just went for it. My step-son is a mason and every stone is carefully considered.

I'm wondering if anyone lives there, as it's a charming small house. Stone houses are always nice and sturdy.
ReplyDeleteHave a merry Christmas week, Rose.
