Headed somewhere in flight...


 i I passed through the strip pit/strip mining area again today.  There were still a lot of snow geese, but no good photos came from them.  I attempted a few of swans and this was the best of my efforts.

  1. It's a real good photo. I have a fit getting shots like this. By the time I see they are coming, I can't get the camera ready in time!

  2. Never easy to take pictures of birds in flight. Our winter swans are now back in the fens, I went to see them earlier this week but didn't take many photos.

  14. We have two man made lakes near us and the swans are still hanging around. I got pictures of trumpeter swans a few years ago but I haven't seen any for a long time. You have a great capture.
