Roger asked if I was wanting to go somewhere...I jumped at the chance to be out for a bit. So headed to what I call the swamp area. Even though I did not see a much wildlife, it was soothing to my soul. There were lots of these dragonflies. For the longest time, they were continually on the move. As I stayed there, there were a few that started to cooperate.
i don'tknow how you do it! Do you use a zoom lens, or get up close?
ReplyDeleteI was photographing some very similar looking dragonflies earlier this week, but not the same species as ours don't occur outside of Europe/Asia. They don't sit still for long, do they?
ReplyDeleteExcellent--- A wonderful capture!

ReplyDeleteThank you for your patience. What a great photo!
ReplyDeleteThey don't seem to be real. Great shot of the winged creature.
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous image. There is this one area that I like to visit for the same reason. There are frogs but I only hear them and if I get too close they jump in the water. But there are plenty of dragonflies. I have not been there in a while. Beautiful color and detail. A superb macro image.
ReplyDeleteRose, your dragonfly photos are always incredible. This one is looking right at me haha. I'm so glad you got a chance to get out and visit nature. It does the body good, and I've been wanting to do that myself.
