I wish two things in regards to frogs: I would love to be able to capture one sitting on a lily pad. I am always too slow getting my camera up. And second, I would love to capture one when it is croaking.
I am hearing the tree frogs here at home, but have not spotted one yet.
I am sure that your woshes will come true! Nevertheless, this pic is excellent. Epecially the reflection!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic picture. I just wish I could get a frog picture just half this good. Hilltop post
ReplyDeleteUntil your wishes come true this fine portrait of Mr Kermit will do nicely.
ReplyDeleteWe have lots of little tree frogs around-- you can hear them. Found one living in a birdhouse near the front door.

Wouldn't it be nice if all these little creatures we try to get pictures of would just cooperate and give us the pose we want? This is a pretty awesome picture.

ReplyDeleteThis is a very nice photograph.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
It would be lovely to capture the frog on a Lilly pad . Actually I've never even seen one in the wild.
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous portrait with a beautiful reflection! Gorgeous color and detail! I know what you mean. As soon as you get the camera ready, they are jumping off of the lily pad and into the water. But I truly love this image!
ReplyDeleteOur frogs in our area are not that green. Maybe they seem to be more brown or dark green. Maybe you should try recording them croaking to go along with your great photo.
ReplyDeleteNow, this photo should be in a magazine. He's a silly looking fellow, isn't he?
