Rubbish Tuesday post

How about something old for Rubbish Tuesday...
Maybe two old somethings...both taken down in southern Indiana...east of Madison.  On little winding roads that only had room for one car.

  5. what is amazing to me is the fact that really old barn is still standing on the concrete, looks like it would be easy for the wind to blow it off. love that tall skinny building...

  6. Two very good pictures for this special day. The building appears to be elevated on foundation blocks so air can circulate throughout the building. A corn crib?

  10. I loved your finds. Being from the country, I can relate to these things. Wonder why the barn was build so high up.

  12. What cool buildings!Makes me wonder when they were last used. I love roads like that, too, so it's good that I moved to New Zealand as many of the side roads are only one lane wide :)

  13. Nice rustic finds! We have been trying to head down to Clifty Falls SP all summer and can't get the weather and timing to work out. Looks like you had a perfect day to be in that area. I love the thought of driving on those narrow winding roads. :)

  14. Love these old buildings. Why is the last one on stilts of sorts? I love being able to see through the walls to the other side. Wonderful images!

  15. Well it's a good thing I read the comments because seriously I thought that skinny building was an "Outhouse" - I have no idea what a Corn Crib is though.

  16. I have never heard of a corn crib so was wondering what the building was, just as well some of your readers are wise. Interesting.
