So lovely. I assume these are violets. As a child I used to see violets everywhere, but especially abundant in piney woods where people had done a winter controlled burn so their cows could graze the springtime grass. That memory is from 70 years ago!
aaahhh, my favorite color. This flower is delicate and so pretty. Yes, it will be awhile til we see these. It's really cold today, in the 20's, and when I went to my car, there were snowflakes all over the windows. Just staying inside and reading my favorite blogs today.
