I have looked at this shot who knows how many times, and not thought it was a great shot...but this time I noticed both were holding up their right leg and it struck me so funny. It is almost as if one is saying to the other 'and who had this great idea?'
How funny and interesting!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt made me smile too.
ReplyDeleteBravo c'est vrai que ta photo est très originale ..il doit faire froid par là même pour des oiseaux
ReplyDeleteBonne journée
LOL I probably wouldn't have noticed that both had a leg up. Love it. When I see stuff like this it makes me glad I'm not a creature living in the wild having to be outside and freezing.
ReplyDeleteI would think the ducks and geese are used to cold water, great shot.
ReplyDeleteTake care, have a happy day!

One goose looks to be "howling" at the feeling of the cold water! A cute composition with the perfect caption.
ReplyDeletemade me laugh before I read your post. it is like they are saying, stand on one foot and the other one will be warm, only let one foot be in the icy water. love it
ReplyDeleteI really like the reflections too.
ReplyDeleteI bet it is! Great shot!
ReplyDeleteI guess they warm one leg at a time. Fun shot and nice reflections.
ReplyDeleteGreat picture and caption to go with it. :)
ReplyDeleteThat water must be enough to draw back.
ReplyDeleteThe left goose seems very interested in something flying over.
ReplyDeleteA perfect title! It looks really cold! I love that they both have their feet up out of the water! Beautiful reflections.
ReplyDeleteI think this is a great shot. You can see their reflection and they are standing on the same leg. Our chickens will stand on one leg too if they are standing on the snow.
ReplyDeleteThis quite fun!
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha !! They are doing penance by standing on one foot
ReplyDeleteDo you think on signal they switch legs?
ReplyDeleteOh, I think this is a great shot. You can see the reflection of the geese in the water. It's a wonderful photo in my opinion. And I am partial to the Geese.
