Yum!!!

My daughter went for a quick walk over the weekend, and found these two beside the walking trail.  I wish it had been about 100 times as many.  But I cleaned them and fried them for Roger.

I don't eat mushrooms, but I believe Morels are among the favoured sort for up-market tables! YAM xx

  3. Wow! I never would have thought they would be edible! They look huge. And to hear they're delicious, too.

  4. These mushrooms are beautiful! Such interesting shapes! Certainly nothing like what is sold in grocery stores. I know nothing about picking wild mushrooms but I think that it would be fun to do!

  6. I don't know an edible mushroom from a non edible one. I have to rely on what I can buy at the grocery store. These are pretty interesting looking

  7. Mushrooms are not on my list of yes foods, but I would not eat anything I found because of fear of not know what I was eating. I used to cook with them in spaghetti but they were canned, have never cooked a mushroom.

  10. Love mushrooms and these look fantastic. Our neighbor gave us some dried morels that they had picked.
I keep forgetting to rehydrate them and use them in my recipes. Thanks for the reminder!!
