Prince Albert....

I hate to think of all the Prince Albert cans that were thrown away at home...that was what my dad smoked till he quit smoking.  I think the price of these were two for $15.

Roger has not been feeling well since last Thursday.  We know to expect 'off' days since the stroke, but this is getting a little old.  I feel like there has been some improvement in the past couple of days though so maybe he will be back to his new normal soon.  This has been sort of like how he felt back in February when I ended up taking him to the ER.

From the archives...

Just a few odds and ends here. I think this particular barn is gone.  Just within the past year or two.  It is one that I photographed every time I passed it.

I had to resort to the archives for barn photos...

On the other hand, I don't think I have posted any of these particular photos, though I have posted  other versions of the first barn.

a rose from a Rose

This was a rose at the first house my daughter lived in when she first moved out.  It was the first year that it ever had so many pretty roses.

From the woods...

It has been ages since I have been in the woods, so I am posting some previously posted photos.

I really wanted to get Lorelei out to see the flowers but it just hasn't happened.

We are getting her this afternoon, and it is rainy and cold!

This wall of old tools is in the same shop as the sewing machine I used for my previous post that was for Tuesday's Treasures

The Dirt Road...Foto Tunes...

I suggest going to the bottom of the post and starting the video while strolling through the photos...

I have had ideas to try for Foto Tunes, but it is always something I need to work on.  No photos on hand for it.

Today this song came to mind when someone had captioned a picture with 'the dirt road'...not saying who it was...

I thought that's it!

We are always pulled down the dirt roads.

It was hard to narrow them down to just a few...

I will stop with these for now...

Featuring this.....barn???

I am not sure if this is a barn, but that is the category I put it in.  It is north of Clinton on St. Rd. 63...and has long been a favorite of mine.

I have taken photos of it forever, however these were taken in 2012 and some have been posted before.

Roger actually stopped for me to snap more than one or two.

I am using it as my entry for The Barn Collective.

An old treasure....

This is from a week or two ago...

Swimming along, gracefully gliding...

This was taken up at the Heron Viewing place north of Danville at the same time I took those swan photos I posted a few days ago.  The pair of geese were much more afraid than the swans.

More than he can chew....

We were out for a little drive over the weekend...I first spotted what I thought was a fish on some rocks.  I thought it was one someone had caught and threw up there to die. I didn't look close at first...then when I looked back it had moved...

It tried to flip and wiggle to get loose, but it really had no chance...

The snake drug it back this far and was still there when we left...I wonder what the outcome was.  It looks a bit to big for the snake.

Featherweight....

These little sewing machines are a prized possession of some quilters.  They are supposed to be super little sewing machines.  A lot of quilters like the Featherweight because it is so easy to take to classes.  I think they are beautiful.

A barn at last....

For the Barn Collective, I only have one barn to post...

But I am offering a view where I zoomed in, too.  This is a barn we have passed a ga-zillion times but I think I only have a couple photos of it.

Identify please....

I have not tried to identify these, so if you know please leave a comment.

They were in a big puddle in a farm field

The photos were taken May 3...

It is a bit late, but going to link this to Tom's Tuesday's Treasures...

Come and sit a spell....

I was very tempted to get out and sit down here....

Barns from the past week...

Though I have passed this barns lots of times, I think I have only photographed it maybe one other time....

I zoomed in a little bit for this...this one is from Parke County.

This is from north of us....not sure what county it is in...I think Fountain County here in Indiana.  and

I have photographed and posted this one.  It is even more deteriorated than the last time.

I love the flag on this one below.

They were all taken on Friday, May 5.
