From the road

I was on the way to an appointment yesterday and got held up at a 4-way stop or I would not have gotten this.  It was taken with my phone and in real life is sort of faded out.

Seen in Danville, Indiana

We were coming through Danville, and for once I was thankful that I was behind a slow moving vehicle.  I was able to snap this photo of this mural.  But I would love to have time go by and take a pic of the whole thing.  It was gorgeous.

From somewhere in Illinois...I think

I am almost positive that this is from somewhere in Illinois, northwest of here....

Average Joe mural...

We saw this mural at Arcolo...we walked closer to read the story.
If you click to expand the view, you can read it too.

These are murals we saw in Howe, Indiana.

It is such a small town to have two murals that are so nice.

Mural(s) through the windshield

This building has murals all along the north side...or is it one big long mural?
I should go over some Sunday just to photograph them.  There are always cars and traffic along the street through the week.

Finished mural...

This was one time I was glad we were stopped by a stoplight.  This was taken Sunday in Brazil, Indiana.  Go here to see it before it was finished.

Madison Mural

I was so intent on the mural, I did not really notice the sign below...and I should have cropped it from the pic but thought since it had Roger's name I would leave it.

Another 'mural' from Nashville, Indiana.

Technically, I guess they are not murals....but I called the first one that.  So will continue to do so.  I did know they they were not painted directly on the wall....but then Ginny said something about it.  I should have corrected myself on that post, but by that time I thought about doing it, it was late in the day.
I can't post a picture of it, without giving the credit due to the artist(s).  This was my other favorite from the wall.  I just simply love it.  Can you believe it is done by Junior High Art Classes...even with the help of a teacher.  It is fabulous.

Mural from Nashville, Indiana

A few days ago we headed out for the day...just to get out and about.  We ended up at Nashville, Indiana.  The back side of the parking lot was this block wall and it was covered in murals...this one was wonderful. At least I thought it was.
This was the plaque under it.

From the Boys & Girls Club

I finally got to snap a shot of this mural that is on the side of the building housing the Boys & Girls Club in Terre Haute. It has been there for a while, yet this is the first time I have photographed it.

Mural in Terre Haute

We were headed to see Lorelei a week or two ago, stopped at a yard sale, and as we left I noticed this mural just down the street and across the road. I could not help but wonder had it been done after the young man drowned there a few weeks back.
