Scene from the past

I totally love a day when the sky/clouds are like this.

 

American Robin

 One thing about here, you can almost always look out and see a couple robins, if not more.  

A not so loved carpenter's bee

 I tried snapping this and was amazed I managed to get one at all.  I will say I missed a lot because it was not still long enough.

Tulip

 I cannot stop taking photos of these tulips.  This particular variety.  The tulips in general have lasted longer than I remember any lasting...I think this variety is nearer to being completely done than the others.  My photos do not do it justice though.

Yum!!!

 My daughter went for a quick walk over the weekend, and found these two beside the walking trail.  I wish it had been about 100 times as many.  But I cleaned them and fried them for Roger.

It was finally warm enough with no rain to get out and take a photo of her, or him.  I suppose I don't really know whether it is the mom or dad.

 I wish I were traveling down this road now...even if I can't remember exactly where it is, I do know the general area.

Cannot open front door

 It will be a while before we can open our front door....the dove has decided to build a nest in the wreath.  The photo is by my daughter.

Growing in the wind

 Spring is springing, even though the temps would fool you...if you stepped out blindfolded you would think we were still in winter.  It is cold and damp today. Another in our backyard shot.

From the back yard

 This is one pair of Mallards that roam the neighborhood.  They visit under the neighbor's birdfeeders sometimes.  A day or two after this was taken, three were on the roof.  Then Copper's barking disturbed them, they flew and I have not seen them all day today.
