I wasn't going to post any more till after Thanksgiving, but then it will be Tex's last time hosting Good Fences...so had to do this one...
I know I am only one of many that will miss her....she is always there with a friendly or funny comment and has shared her animals, and her world with us.
So while we say good-bye to autumn, we are also saying good-bye to someone we have all come to know and love.
Tex, I hope whatever you choose to fill your time, that you have as much fun with it as we have had with you. The blogging world certainly will be different without you. Thank you for hosting Good Fences all this time.
And I want to take this opportunity to wish every one else a Happy Thanksgiving!

Fences from Aikman Wildlife Adventure...
Here is another photo of the camel I posted the other day.
Here is a couple of one of the peacocks...
Next there is
Lorelei!
I will be linking to Theresa's Good Fences....if I remember.

A treasure with a nice fence...
I usually don't combine posts...but this one fits both Tuesday's Treasures and Good Fences. I am not sure if this house is lived in or if it is part of a park we visited near Danville, Illinois. I am sorry I do not remember the name of the park.
And here is one not zoomed in:
I am going to link to Good Fences in the morn, if I remember. We have 'things' we have to do tomorrow, and I won't get to visit till evening. I plan to try to visit a few that have already linked to Tuesday's Treasures....
Thank-you Theresa and Tom for hosting these memes...they are favorites of mine.

Down a country road for some Good Fences
This was on the first side road we drove down yesterday...my heart almost skipped a beat when I saw this view.
Have to show a couple more views..
with this at the end of the shots I took.
If I remember, linking with:
Good Fences
I will try to get in some visits, but Roger has two therapies tomorrow so not sure how much I will get done.

A good fence
I am not joining Good Fences, but I could not resist this photo and immediately thought of Theresa and also Sandra. Just in case you don't know, Sandra loves cows.
***************
Roger continues to improve a little bit at a time...specially in the physical department. He has now been up and down our basement stairs two or three times. He can get in the tub and take a regular shower with no help from me. He makes coffee. He can go shopping with me to Walmart of grocery as long as I don't stay a long time. These are baby steps, but steps I didn't think I would ever see again when this first happened.
He still has trouble with remembering and naming things. And seems to have no short term memory.
We go and drive through the strip pits two or three times a week. It is a short drive and we have fun looking for wildlife. He really, really enjoys it. Not sure when he will ever feel like going for a longer drive. We had an appt in Indianapolis yesterday and he was totally worn out last night.
I wanted to thank you again for your continued prayers. Even though I don't respond personally, I do appreciate them.

Good fences....
I am strolling through the archives for fence shots....this is one I took back in March.
This one is from the same day...though this is a private drive, it is begging me to drive on down.
And then we have these two--take late this evening. Their rich color is from the evening light.
The line going totally across the width of the photos close to the bottom is an old electric fence. If you had not guessed, he was making a bee line to get away from us.
This is my entry for Tex's Good Fences....

Birds like fences, too
First an oldie...taken south and east of Terre Haute Indiana in 2011....
Then we have this robin on a fence post, taken today. I am trying to keep the promise to myself to take more pics of robins.
I am linking these to Tex's Good Fences. Thank you so much for hosting the meme, Tex!

Random fences from the past couple of days...
This is backroad we take to go to nearby Rockville, Indiana.
Actually the above shot is from a few days ago....I meant to include it in last week's Good Fences.
I am including two views here...
All shots today are drive-bys.

Fences from today....
The following photos are from a little drive we took today. I was tempted to save this first photo for a stand alone photo. I just love the view below.
As, always, click to expand the view.
The one above was quite far away...
A couple different views of this one.

Some fence shots...
A bit of this and that for fences...there is an actual fence in the background of the above shot.
A barn, from Parke County I think...
and look what I see!
Just look at this place...shot in the spring of another year.
They were taken in 2010 to be exact...
And I will close with this one...
Hope you will join us at

Good Fences
I hope Tex doesn't mind that I use this in a Good Fences post...I have passed this numerous times and don't think I ever got a good pic of it. Till today.
This is from today, too. I like that nice, tidy white fence.
And I am using this here, too, cause I am grasping at straws to have something new to post.
Come on over to join:

For Good Fences
I am going back in time for some fences, this one from March of 2009. Poor thing, it has seen better days.
I have no idea where this one is...it was taken in 2010
This is one I have been meaning to post forever...I have looked back through my Good Fences posts and cannot find it. So sorry if it is a repeat....
This one I know is a repeat, but I just like it...please expand to get the best view.
Thanks, Tex, for keeping this meme going.
