Good fences....

I am strolling through the archives for fence shots....this is one I took back in March.

This one is from the same day...though this is a private drive, it is begging me to drive on down.

And then we have these two--take late this evening.  Their rich color is from the evening light.

The line going totally across the width of the photos close to the bottom is an old electric fence.  If you had not guessed, he was making a bee line to get away from us.

This is my entry for Tex's Good Fences....

The photo of the drive has the same effect on me; I want to wander down there to see what's at the end. The male pheasant looks particularly fine at this time of year.

The first barn looks like its going to collapse anytime now. Very colourful pheasant.

Pheasant has a bright color and looks very smart. Barn looks so old...

The old barn is such a great find and I'd be tempted to go down the driveway also!
Great photo of the pheasant as they always run away too quickly from me to get a decent shot of them!

Oh that poor old barn..it looks like a new roof might help a fair bit. Love that drive..I, too, would be tempted to walk down and see what's at the end. Great capture of the two birds..my brain is not awake yet this morning, so I have no clue what they are!

Me thinks that barn in the first shot is just about to fall down.
Loved that lane in the 2nd shot. I'd drive down it just to see what their home looked like and make some excuse up as to why I was there.
Nice looking Phesant.

Oh my Rose, that first picture is almost heartbreaking. Makes me sad. The second drive is one I want to go down too. Just drive down and say you are looking for the Mcgillacutys or something. the Pheasant is a beauty.

It is a set of lovely fences, Rose. Nicely don!
I worry about dogs when it comes to private driveways.
Sometimes I have push my bike along some and I see the dogs would love to give me a good chase.
Mind you - I love dogs :)
Have a Happy Day!
Peace :)

Never know what treasure one might find in the archives. The golden sunlight really makes bird feathers glow.
