This old barn looks pathetic...it has really gone downhill from when I was a young woman.  
 

Another old beauty

I wonder if this barn is still standing?  I need to get on google maps and see if I can find it.  I at least have some idea of where it is at.  Don't you bet it was a real beauty back when it was new?
 

A Barn

Not quite sure where this barn is....it is east of Terre Haute, and I think south as well...not sure how close it would be to where we are not.

 

Gone but not forgotten

 When our girls were young...pre-teen....we often took them to this creek.  They waded, caught crawdads, snakes (garter snakes), or anything they could find, and Roger and I waded and fished.  We passed this barn so, so many times.  Then, a few years ago it was no longer there, nor could you see a sign that any barn had ever been there.  

Looking through...

 I tried to place this barn by the photos surrounding it and could not quite remember where it was taken.   It has seen better days, but I love the look of it.

Still standing???

 This was taken in 2010,   So I have no idea if it is still standing.  I sort of know the area it is in but don't see getting back there any time soon.

Evening glo

 I love the warm light the evening sun gave this barn.  I have long wondered where it is...I have never run across it again.  It is a scanned photo so it is older.

 This old barn has seen better days...the roof looks like the Midwest wind has been hard at work.

One wonders what goes on behind doors that are closed and windows that are covered.  Or I always  wonder.

 This is another from the archives...from 2007.  It is quite a ways south of us.  Not sure I could find it again, but I do know the general area.

Another one gone

 I always thought this barn a little beauty.  Imagine my surprise when we passed by a year or two ago and it was just gone.  Not one sign that it had ever been there.

 I need to take a drive and see if this beauty is still there.   I don't know the exact road, but I do know the general area.

 This beauty is not too far from me...maybe 20-25 minutes.  I would love to see inside.

 This one I know is from Illinois...not too far from me.  I have wondered about the upstairs windows.  I actually wonder if it has an upstairs or are they just for light.
