I cannot count the number of times I have passed this barn...it is on US 40, sometimes known as the National Road. This is just a drive-by shot...seems like we are always in a hurry when going over to Sarah's and too tired on the way home to fool with taking time to stop for a good photograph. So, I thought I might as well show this.
I am planning on linking to Tricia's Barn Charm meme...check it out for more wonderful barns. Or if you have one of your own, please join.

Oh Rose, I think you did well with a drive-by shot.
It's a lovely old barn. I like the yellow siding of the (garage) next door.
Those big old trees could tell some stories I bet. :)
It's strange that the main door is right on the highway.
Gorgeous barn, Rose... I love it... Thanks for sharing.
Hugs,
Betsy
That's a great looking barn and a wonderful photo. I can relate because about 90% of my barn photos are drive bys. :)
I've got a similar situation where I drive by a barn not too far from my house and never have taken a picture. Soon I will rectify that. This one of yours is a beauty!
This is a great barn picture. I'm very impressed that this is a drive-by shot.
That is a nice shot for a drive by shot. I'd like to know what it was used for. It sure has a steep roof.
Great looking big red barn... I'm thinkin' they may need some new doors soon though! =)
Thanks for joining in, Rose, much appreciated! =)
It's a fine barn shot with fine detail....doesn't look like a drive by. I do many of these because the roads around here in the countryside do not have shoulders or any place to park. Stopping on the roadway is out of the question. Very nice picture.
Hi Rose, I haven't been by in awhile. Kinda like just driving by but this time I am stopping. Very nice barn I like the old trees framing it.
PS: How is Sarah doing? Hands full with Dancing L. MB
This is a beautiful old barn, Rose, and I like the large trees around it. Red barns are my favorite and they photograph so well. I wonder where you are as I live off of Rt. 40 National Rd.
Thanks for answering my question, Rose. I guess National Rd goes further than I thought. I am in Ohio and it passes through this state.
What a neat barn. I love the steep tall roof.
So nice the weather cooperated. Just the right amount of snow and gorgeous blue sky. =)
