Leftovers for Barn Charm this week

Since I only got to capture one view of these subjects, I thought I would post them together. I think the were all three south of Terre Haute, but not sure just where. I am almost positive the first one is in Illinois, and the second one may be too. It was somewhere close to the state line, so can not be sure one way or the other.
It is one of the most well maintained barns I have seen. Everything is just so about the whole set up. It made me wonder what it is used for.
And as you can see with the last one, it is from within the car...I think though that Roger did pause. Both the first and last barns have seen better days....

I am linking this to Tricia's Barn Charm meme.

How sad there's not much left of the first one is there? But your 2nd one looks like a huge house. Wonder what they do in there!

The second one looks like it could be a home and I'd love it. I can just imagine the space.
The first one is not much more than a shell and the last one looks like it might have been outlived its purpose for what looks like a newer red pole barn to the right.
The doggie looks quite at home though. :)

I love the dog sitting in the third photo. The second one does look like someone could be using it for some kind of living quarters.

I agree about the second one...looks like a home.

I adore the hayloft in the last one. All are terrific shots.

The middle one sure is in good shape. I really like to top shot with the clear blue sky behind it.

The middle one really does look like a home - a barn converted into a home.

I agree the middle one is pretty neat and looks new. The two needs TLC.

Cute Barn

These are fine barn pictures, Rose. My barn tonight is one with small doors and tiny windows like one of your barns and I'm wondering if they might be used for horses although even then I think one would want a larger door. I haven't figured it out obviously! :-)

I'm wondering what that 2nd one is used for, too... maybe they turned it into an apartment building? But I love that last one... it's gorgeous, complete w/ a dog! heheheee =)

Thanks for joining =)

I wouldn't like the second one as a house. Windows aren't big enough. :)

I really do like the last one. It has character and a story to tell!

That second barn is really lovely! Reminds me of some of the barns in New England, so well cared for. That has obviously been a well loved barn. Thanks also for stopping by my blog!

The first one makes me thing of those movie sets where there is only the facade showing.

Wonderful barns--all of them. The second one is gorgeous but I do have a soft spot in my heart for the derelict ones. MB
