Friday's fences....old fences at that....

I thought I would enter these two photos into the Friday's fences meme...they were taken in January of 2005. Both have been published before, but I like them so much and there will be new people to see them now. Besides the fact is I have not had a chance to be out with my camera.
If you want to join or see more fences, go see Life According to Jan and Jer's Fridays Fences--http://lifeaccordingtojanandjer.blogspot.com/2012/02/fridays-fences-22.html--never mind I signed in with Firefox and am all set now!
For some reason, blogger will not let me make a link....I am using Internet Explorer. Knowing my luck I won't even be able to post from here.
I should have left a note...I basically quit doing anything on the computer other than looking for a new computer. That took a few days, plus we went to spend the weekend with our daughter. My new computer came Wednesday evening.....I now have most things transferred to this one. I think I am about ready to start blogging again. I think. Anyway, just wanted to explain where I have been.

Edited to add: I don't know what it is with me/blogger/new computers. I got my netbook a few months ago, and could not even post from there while using Internet Explorer, now I have my new computer and I can post from there. I could not highlight anything to make links on either computer when trying to post...till I switched to Firefox. I wondered if it was something to do with Win 7.

i have heard 2 other bloggers got 'shut out' from posting with the message their browser was no longer supported by blogger. one tried google chrome and it worked. another tried chrome and even that didn't so went to firefox. i myself switched from internet explorer to chrome a few weeks back to solve issues w/ loading and commenting on some blogs.

BUT after all that, i LOVE these photos!!! LOVE!

I really like both of these Rose!
I like the shape of that big ole tree in the first one and the second one is the kind of winter I haven't seen in awhile - a beautiful scene.

Not sure exactly what you mean about blogger not letting you make a link. Are you using the old or new blogger interface. When I use the old one which I like so much better I can't highlight to make a link and have to switch to the new interface to do it.
Glad to have you back in blogland.

I can't post with Internet Explorer, so I use Firefox. Beautiful photos and I'm glad you reposted them! You might want to switch from IE...

I love snow pictures and these are great with the fences. I especially like the second one.

The pics are great. Love, love, love snow in pictures (not so much for real). Switched to Chrome...doing good. Went to Firefox but didn't support my email account. Kinda travel back and forth between all. Computers!!!

Both of the photos are lovely and well worth repeating! Hopefully you'll get your new computer working well for you. Seems there's always something with computers....

Love the shots - especially that fence buried in the snow! I had to go back to the old blogger interface because I couldn't do anything with the new one! I was completely befuddled until I realized that was the problem. So far (think fingers crossed), so good! Glad to see you back and operational!

These are great photos -- not only of the fences, but of the wintry scenes. I really like the monochrome images.
I'm sorry to hear about the troubles you've been having with computers, but I hope everything is working properly now.

Hi Rose, nice to see you back - I thought that maybe you were visiting that lovely granddaughter of yours.
I love your pictures especially the 2nd one with the river running through it. There is just something a bit special about snowy pictures.
I use firefox and have never noticed any problems with blogging - hope I haven't spoken too soon :o
