This is just one of many covered bridges in Parke County. I have lived here longer than I want say and have not seen them all.

This one looks like it could use some TLC.....but I hardly notice that because all I see is the reflective quality of the water.

so neat! i sure hope they spend some time and money on repairing them!
These are wonderful. I don't know if I've ever been on one. But I did read one interesting thing. They were not covered for protection for people, they were covered to protect the wood floors.
I love to see these covered bridges - something we don't see here in Scotland.
Beautiful! I've tried to photograph as many covered bridges as I can when we are traveling. I have a good collection that's on my list of things to do a post on. I have lots of photos of many things, just waiting for me to get around to them....
i would like to walk down that road through the first one, both places look like a great place for a walk. beautiful old bridges.
I would love to see some covered bridges. I've never seen one in person. Beautiful photos Rose!
Lovely pictures!
Both are fine covered bridges. I like your head-on view of the first one. Very direct and emulates me driving through the bridge. The second one is very good too with that great looking water underneath.
Just LOVE covered bridges. Very nice images.
I love covered bridges, too. That second one is a little rough but has lots of charm.
Wonderful! I've found out we have a few around here, I just have to find the time to check them out.
I have seen some of Indiana's covered bridges while visiting the covered bridge festival. Man is that a crowded event! These are both great shots!
