From Illinois

I cannot remember the name of the little town this was in...it was just a small place. We stopped at a little diner there...we both got a grilled pork chop, which was really good. And Roger got an order of fried zucchini. Neither of us noticed the price...till we got the bill. I don't know what I expected...it was a big serving of the best fried zucchini we had ever had. It's cost--$1. We think about going back just for to have the fried zucchini.

You hit a great diner! This tower(?) is very unique looking corner piece for this building. Nice shot.

I love that roof and you got a great shot of it.
What a bargain you got in the diner. I would go back as well :))

The building looks like it has some German or Polish influences. In any event, it's a beauty.

And $1.00 for the zucchini? That's cheaper than growing it yourself. :)
