Two versions for barn charm...

This is another drive by from going to Arthur, Illinois the other day.
I don't even remember what I did to get this second version...but I really like it.

The second one looks a bit spooky, like a barn at night.

It does look a little spooky! And it looks like a perfect roof was put onto an old barn! Very cool effect!

I like the second version as well, but the first version is pretty neat as well.

I like them both! It's fun to see what a few tweaks will do to change the look of a photo.

Ohhhh you spookalized it. Kinda cool. MB

I like both. The second one looks like it was taken at night.

Great photos! Looks like a newer roof for the old barn.

What an interesting looking barn! The crumbling boards on the front of the barn and a new metal roof just don't seem to go together. Love MB's comment, spookalized, and that's surely what you've done.

You captured the light almost as if it were night time with a flash. Very cool! I like the shape of the barn roof and I also like the fence.

look at the size of that roof!!

Nice barn. I love the long, sloping roof, which looks pretty new.

Love that roof!

Have you seen those clips on shows where they flash a scene that's been hit by a nuclear bomb? The edit you used in the 2nd version reminds me of that! LoL! I like it & I like the color change, almost a sepia color! Very cool, Rose

Thanks a bunch for joining =)

This is a great looking barn and I like the negative version as well. It has a wonderful roof and sad structure underneath.

I really like both your shots - but my favourite is your 2nd one. There is something quite mystical about it. :)

Changed day to night--that's a real edit trick, Rose. This barn may be old but it's still hard-working, I suspect.
