A Barn Charm post....

I almost forgot it was Monday and time for a Barn Charm post....so trying to hurry here and get it ready to post.  I have had this week's barn in my folder for quite a while.
I am not sure where this one is at...but I think north of us and still in Indiana.

It is not falling apart, at least.  And I like the looks of it.  I do wonder why the windows up top are painted over.
I know one thing, I am ready for some bright sunny weather once again.  Ready to ramble and find more barns.

Hmmm, the windows are painted - I wonder, too. Very charming barn!

I think this barn has a slightly astonished expression! A great barn. : )

Nice one Rose! I'm so ready to have this snow gone so I can get out and take more photos. I've been staying in more especially when it's snowing and it's been snowing a lot!

Looks like this barn has been white-washed...looks wonderful. Love the shape and with the two windows almost resembles a face. Yes, I am definitely ready for the spring weather, no fun shooting barns with the grey skies we have had.

Great barn! It is strange that the windows are painted though.
I'm ready for sunshine too!

I agree with Nell, it looks slightly astonished! It looks like they put a metal roof on over an old shingled roof. Guess it was easier that way. We've been having quite a bit of bright sunny weather and we're over the hump and getting more daylight than dark now. We ever saw a squirrel in the trees in the backyard today.

I agree with Deanna that it looks like it's been whitewashed. I sure am wishing for some bright sunny weather.

A very handsome barn! I think someone didn't want to take time to not paint the windows so they got painted over too. Twyla

VERY nice! And someone must have been there because of the little red truck!

Maybe the last one to paint used a paint sprayer and didn't take time to cover the windows. If it's a thin layer, some light would still come through.

Nice barn and good shots of it!

It's a great looking barn, Rose. The green in your photo makes me really long for spring and summer.

she's a beauty of an old barn.. looks like a face in the first photo, the closed eyelids and a nose, need to paint some lips on it.

A fine barn with some unusual features. It does look to be in good shape. Nice post.

I like the white=washed look of it and the fencing. It does appear to be in pretty good condition. Seeing those shingles along the edge I wonder if once it was all shingled and then the tin put on top.

I think I missed some of these! You always find such neat barns, but it is also your skill at photographing them, that makes them looks so good.
