Drive-bys for Barn Charm

IF I can remember, I want to link to Tricia's Barn Charm tonight.  I thought I would use the drive-by shots from the road trip to Effingham, Illinois.
By using the sharpen tool, I was able to improve these enough till I don't feel too bad using them.  I really would have loved to have had the opportunity to stop and take photos of this barn above...I really did like it.

The buzzard caught my eye on this one...actually there was two or three, but the other shot was beyond help, so showing this one with only the one buzzard.
And finally this last barn...I think I captured it on the way home...

My very favorite is the second one. And also the bird picture, which looks like a purchased barn topper, but it is real!!

Love the surroundings in the first - soybeans?
The second is my favorite and I kinda like the juxtaposition of the treehouse. The old and the new.
Nice drive-by's Rose!

Nice drive-bys. I really like the first one!

I don't think I have ever seen a vulture sitting outstretched on a roof like that before. Hmmm. Could it be I need to be more observant? :)

You did a fine job of "barn" shooting. I like the first one for the textures and color. The other two look good too. That last one with the long sloping roof shows great rust and a feeble structure underneath.

The first barn is gorgeous. Its structure is so great, I even can't take my eyes from it. And the last barn touched my heart also. It's very nice!

Lovely drive-by shots! I really like that first barn. There are so many wonderful old barns out there and you can't stop to explore them all, but some certainly do seem to call to you to do just that.

Wow, look at that wing span. Great barns, we've stayed a night in Effingham before.

I'm still hoping they'll do something about Benghazi... I can't believe they'll allow him to get away w/ that... It's murder... Take a look at this article
