A little arachnid for your viewing pleasure--or not

Sarah and Lorelei noticed him on our front porch one night when they were here last.  Sarah held flashlight, so I could focus on him, and was able to capture some half decent shots.

A fine shot of this fellow. I'd like for him to stay on the porch! :-)

Great shot, Rose. That's a colorful, yet hairy specimen.

Way cool spidy. Fall is the season to see so many. Good shot. MB

PS: I like your 'fences' shots too. Foggy one. MB

NOT! Eww, eww, and EWW! Nevertheless, when you get a picture this good, you MUST post it! Good detail.

Regarding your comment on my blog: doesn't that second picture remind you of the donkey in one of the schrek movies. I think that was a movie. MB

Oh, yes! This is the same kind I had out front. It finally disappeared one night. Don't know if it got eaten, or died, or moved somewhere else. She spun her web next to our front door for a couple weeks at least. Fascinating to watch even if they are a bit creepy.
