great shot and this one has a lot of reflectors on it which is a good thing..
Country roads simply aren't what they use to be but you captured a lovely scene of simplicity.
What a great shot. Sometimes going back to a simple life sounds very tempting.
Other than the tail lights and the triangle your photo could have been taken today or 200 years ago.
"Traffic flying up and down the roads" yeah! While in Missouri near an Amish area cars come flying over the hilly country of Missouri only to come up on one of these buggies in the middle of the road as there are no shoulders. It's insane way of travel or at least it seemed that way to this California boy.
wow, that is really an enclosed one! almost reminds me of an old wells fargo money transport. :)
I was lucky to have visit Amish country in PA many years ago. This brought back memories of that wonderful trip.

This buggy looks so new and in perfect shape. I have to admire the Amish for sticking to their beliefs so tenaciously.
An enclosed coach--they must be fairly wealthy. Sure neat looking. MB

People drive to fast on our back roads too, Rose. What's the rush?! I'm glad to see they have that triangle on the back of their buggy. I know some orders forbid or have forbidden it.
I thought Arthur had a large Amish population. Glad you posted this. This looks like a winter buggy of sorts. Looks quite elegant really.
