Nuthatches....

I took this first one on Sunday....
and this last one was taken on December 13th....it looks to me as if it is defying gravity.  But that is how it was holding on.  Not just an odd capture by me.

I could watch birds all day. They are so entertaining. Good Nuthatch capture, perching like that. Truly defying gravity.

The illusion of defying gravity is very good. I guess the bird knows how to hang on. I hope the birds are surviving the extra cold weather further north.

Such a neat bird to watch. Our Nuthatch's are different. We have the Red-breasted Nuthatches. Same build though. MB
