Random Good Fences

Not positive where this one is at, though I am thinking maybe up near the Willow Slough Wildlife area.
I went and checked the original files, and these top two were both from a trip to Willow Slough.
And just for good measure, I am throwing this one in from June of this year....

Of course the barn needs painted. And that poor old fence in the first picture seems to serve no purpose anymore.

Oh boy I like the first image. Paint that house and we're moving in. MB

I especially liked the barbed wire fencing with the tree growing around it.

i always wonder how long it will take fencing to grow into a tree like that? i guess it takes a very determined tree. ( :

I think it's amazing how trees grow right into wire fences! Neat photo.

i love all three and can't pick a favorite. the second one is being gobbled by a tree, how cool is that.. and the first one, poor thing, someone knocked it down.. great shots

I love the 2nd shot and it reminds me of 2 bones meeting in the body! Love the old barn

Oh I like all.

Thumbs up. Ya a good paint and it is a darling place. Beggars can not be choosers. Did I say beggars. Matter of speaking. Something my Mom always said. God rest her soul.

Nice collection of fences! I feel a little sorry for that tree though.

Fences .... the types and images and interest just go on forever don't they?

These are all very interesting shots, especially the one where the tree is growing around the fence! The old house looks like it was great home at one time. Wouldn't it be fun to go in and have a look?

The tree with barbed wire is a really great capture, but I do like them all.

I hope the tree survives the fence!

You certainly found some rustic fences! That poor ol' tree with the barbed wire - great shot, though! The fence in the last image seems like just the right fit for the house. :)

Oh, Rose! beautiful photos! I particularly love the first. We were away for thriteeen days on vacation, and though I have been back about five days now, I am still trying to get caught up with everyone's blogs. Hope you will come by & take a look at my last two posts...the Good Fences one, and the one before it. I have so many photos to share! :-) Hope all is going well with you! I can't remember if you saw my most recent quilting post too. I did a finish on daughter's quilt about a month before we went on vacation. I will check back and see if you saw that one. Should be posting again on that blog in about a week, too. All my best!
