about as hot as working on a road crew, i'm guessing!
I agree, though I'm not sure winter would be much better--burning hot in front and freezing cold behind. :-)
Looks like a very wrm job! I'm wondering what the kiln is for.
Now would get very hot. It is a very large kiln!
Great image. Hot, back-breaking work I would say.
This is a tough job, having to endure the heat especially in hot weather. Bless these people for their job. Have a beautiful Sunday!
It is a tough job and very hot. Great photo! Enjoy your day!
back breaking work, but it sure made a great photo
Makes for a fascinating photo.
A fine shot of this "hot" situation. I can't imagine how hot this radiates out into the workman's space.
Hard work and Hot too.MB
I'll volunteer to be the one who leans on the shovel.
I like the way the fire stands out. YOu have composed this beautifully.
That kiln is a very cool structure. Well, I guess "cool" isn't the right word really, but I like it. Having said that, I sure wouldn't want to do that work. Too hot for me.
Cool capture. I agree with one commentor, warm in the front and freezing in the back during the winter months.
I agree! I don't even like opening the oven on a hot day. I can't imagine how hot a brick kiln would feel.
I can see where it would be a very warm job in summer and perhaps even in winter. It's really a cool photo of something you don't normally see.
