So nice to see these wonderful pictures. The Swallowtail is an extremely rare butterfly over here; I know only one place where it's almost certain to be - provided, of course that you time your visit perfectly.

These are beauties. After trying to get shots of butterflies all summer, I was finally able to get a few over the weekend which I will share later. There is a field across from my local Goodwill Store that is full of milkweeds which they mowed down a couple of months ago...well, it has all grown back up and is blooming again. Monarchs were fluttering all around...so here I am, traipsing through a tall field of milkweed shooting butterflies! At least, now I kmow where I can find them!
