Back in time for The Barn Collective...
Hopefully, I will remember to link to the Barn Collective without Tom having to remind me this time. I totally forgot last week till he reminded me.
Anyway, I didn't get out to hunt any new barns, or take any new barn photos this past week, so going all the way back to November of 2005
These are all barns fairly close to where I live now...I bet none are more than 10 miles away. If even that.
But of the ones I am showing from that day, I think I could find the one above...
and possibly this one. Maybe we should go for a drive next week and see if we can find these barns and see what they look like now.
I like this one for the fact that there are cows and fences in the shot....
Here we have a cropped portion of the photo...look at that little calf! Just so little.
Here is the last photo of this post....I thought at first not exactly a barn photo, but at the end of the field on the right is is the top of what appears to be a barn. Go ahead and click on this photo if none of the others...I love it when the view is expanded. It is one of my favorite photos I have ever taken.

Yea that last one is a beautiful photo! I run out of barn pictures constantly too.

in the second photo i love how the sun is painting that red barn and making it glow. beautiful shot. your barns are always wonderful to me because they are something i never see
Thanks Rose for sharing this wonderful collection this week. I'm drawn to the second barn with the dormer for loading the hay mow...a style that I rarely see in these parts. I hope that you pass a bunch more barns and return again.
A fine group of barn shots. I think going back would be an interesting trip. I hope they all survived.

All there barns are nice and mostly red, but that first one really draws me to it. I am wondering what its condition is now. Do they still have all that stuff in the shed part? Have they fixed the roof? What is in that tank.....diesel for the equipment? Looks like they have it set up as a doubter decker. Yep...this is my favorite. It has lots of stories to tell. genie

the first and third could almost be texas - just a bit too big to quality for our typical barns (aka sheds/shacks). :)
