Rainy day barns....

This time for The Barn Collective, I am showing barns taken this past Friday...a dreary, rainy, foggy day.
This is one we see after we leave Crawfordsville...we were going at a good speed when this was taken.  And was taken with my little Canon SX700.  I was pleasantly surprised...
We took a round-about way home...instead of going the usual route, we turned on to Indiana State Road 59 and went south.  This is one that Roger paused for me to snap a shot...an lovely old barn.
If you will notice, you can tell I am shooting through the windshield...again, Roger paused.  We were lucky...there was hardly another soul on the highway.  I have messed with this a bit to get it sharper.
More misty, through the windshield shots...traveling at a good clip on the one above and the one below.
This set of red barns has fascinated me for years.  They are just north of Mansfield, Indiana.

I hope you have a barn, or if you even see someone with a barn post, please encourage them to join us at
The Barn Collective.

Yes they are all nice barns and pretty good for shooting on the move. I manage sometimes but other times I get blurs. LOL
I got the book 'My Southern Journey' Pretty good so far. thanks.

Your pics all turned up good, even though taken through your wind screen. I like the foggy look of your 1st pic.

Delightful! I wonder what stories these old barns could tell.

I enjoyed looking at your barn series. This post is a good mix of paused and moving shots. A fine job of shooting.

You have some grand barns in your area, well worth recording. I recognise that weather!

Lovely barns. I must say the overhang on those red barns is quite interesting.
