The Swan Family

This family of Mute Swans were on the Ontario Mill Dam pond/lake when we were up there in October.  I can't believe I haven't post a pic of them before now.  This was taken across the lake with my little Canon SX 700....I couldn't believe the pic was this good...even with the little help I gave it with Picasa.

Nice photo.
Just looked up info on these swans and it turns out that here in Canada they are considered a non-native invasive species ...... you know, like zebra mussels or Asian long-horn beetles. Too bad as they are much more attractive looking than mussels or beetles!
