From a hot summer day in 2007

This photo was taken 2 or 3 hours south of us, but still in Indiana.  For some reason I have always loved this barn.  I feel like I have posted it recently but cannot find it if I have.  So maybe it only crossed my mind to post it.  Along with it, I am going to post a few scenes that includes barns that was taken down in that area...

We were at Jackson-Washington State Forest...and there is a drive that goes to the top of the ridge.  We sure enjoyed the view.

These are not the greatest shots, but I thought you might enjoy the views anyway.

I am not sure if I am ready to rejoin the blogging world.  We are have Lorelei 3 and 4 days a week....she just stays here rather than us take her back and forth, or her mom coming and getting her.

I am going to link this with The Barn Collective...

Hoop-D-Do!!! I am happy to see you posting the pictures. You know I am only doing this blog and my artwork on Buttons and that is enough for me right now. I just cannot give up my barns. I do not remember these, but then my mind is so old I do not remember much. That first shot is so neat. I am wondering if those step like metal pieces going down the back of the barn are steps to the roof. I have never seen that before. The panoramic view is beautiful. The ones here is most case are in the flatter areas but there are a few with gorgeous views like this. genie

The complimentary lines of the first barn are easy on the eye and make for a handsome barn.

The ridge view creates some great landscapes. I like seeing your country side and the elevated view makes that very good.

Yes those are great views and nothing nice than to see beautiful farm land. I do like that first barn and milk house. A ghost of farming past.
