I think this barn has a new roof since the last time I photographed it.
I zoomed in a bit...that looks like a giant snake crawling in through the door.
These are all within about a two or three mile stretch of road...
I take photos of them every chance I get...
This one sits behind the one right above it. I liked it better in B&W.
Then I zoomed in a bit.
Thought I would share the color version...
Linking to the Barn Collective...hoping I remember to later tonight.

I love this brand new red roof! It's not often that farmers have the money to fix up their barns. And the other barn, the bottom of it is yellow, and the top is just weathered wood. Maybe they are in the process of painting it.
I really like that metal roof. These are all great shots. I like the black and white edit, too.
they area all amazing old barns, love the black and white photos best but they are beautiful in color also.. the red roof is to red for me, now maybe they can paint the old barn wood pink... ha ha... i would have gone with a silver tin roof...
One with a new roof, and another that certainly needs one. Many of our old barns are being converted to residential properties, some tastefully, others less so.
A fine series of barns. I especially like that bright red roof. The black and white pictures are in nice contrast with the colored ones. It makes an impressive series. An excellent post.
Nice group of barn shots Rose.
Great barn shots. I've been bad about taking photos of barns.
Good to see a new roof on an old barn
I like Black and white photos, too!
...WOW Rose, you sure have a bunch this week! I've been trying more B&Ws lately. Yesterday I was out and I started to snow, my color shots looked like B&Ws. Thanks so much for being here, I hope that you can come again.
Terrific collection of barn pictures. Great new red roof on that first barn. The color sure pops out.
Great photos, I love old barns too!
Oh my---great shots of course. I like black and white but color is great too. I guess I am just wishy-washy--haha. Weathered wood sometimes looks better than weathered peeling paint.

I like the last barn best! And of course I had to enlarge to see the giant 'snake'.😆
So many different barns and each one has a special look to it.
Great old barns, Rose!
