Were you born in a barn...for the Barn Collective.

For the Barn Collective, I am featuring a blogpost from 2011....I hope you enjoy it.

Just think...if you lived here and someone asked you if you were born in a barn...you could answer yes! Notice the deck, and the fuel tank in the above photo...and that is an air conditioner up on those legs right next to the barn/house... We had a couple errands to run today and took a little side drive before coming home...and I spotted this place. I couldn't believe my eyes when I notice the deck. The more I looked it dawned on me that my eyes were not deceiving me...and that it wasn't just wishful thinking. I half expected to come around to this side and see garage doors, but instead saw these windows. I would pay money to see the inside of this place!

How wonderfully unusual!

Yes, I would love to see inside too! I wonder if it is a house, designed to look like a barn. Of course not nearly enough windows though. So I guess it is just a luxury condo for the animals.

Looks like someone lives upstairs!

I'm guessing that the inside is very nice. We have a couple of yards in this area, where a barn has been converted into a home.I have never been inside one of them, but sure would like to.

Oh boy you are bringing back lots of memories with that question...were you born in a barn! I suppose judging from a lot of my habits one could say I was born in a barn. Nice shots!

It would be very interesting to see the inside of this barn. The three pictures make a very good post. I like these pictures very much.

"Were you born in a barn," my mother would often say this when I didn't close the door. Just up the road from us is a barn that was renovated in a home, a very fancy mow at that. Thanks Rose for sharing this barn-home! I hope to see you back again.

Neat! I have been inside a converted barn. It didn't seem like a barn at all!
