I believe them to be Sandpipers. I looked them up just to be sure, and they look exactly like these. Good reflections too!

It does look like a sandpiper but also a Lesser Yellowlegs---exact----hard to tell. We have 6 different Sandpipers and they are all similar.
Good shots anyway

This species of bird is hard for me to ID,but I would lean towards the Yellowlegs.Great pictures.

I had a post about the same birds recently-mine were Greater Yellowlegs - there are also Lesser Yellowlegs - the difference is mostly their size. Sandpipers have dark legs, so it seems you have a Yellowlegs of either size. It is hard to compare if they aren't together.

I didn't know what they were but looked up both Sandpipers and Yellowlegs and I would say yellowlegs.

Oh, those are very unique birds, Rose. Not sure what they are either. They have long beaks that you don't usually see on other birds.
