Purely by accident

please keep in mind that they are as good as they are is purely by accident.


Every time the camera focused, the wind would start to blow.

They are fabulous - I've never had a butterfly sit still long enough to ever get a photo - so if you get ones in the breeze I'm truly impressed.

they are excellent and the last one looks like the wind is blowing the monarchs wings.. we don't get these here, we have 6 type in the yard but not the monarch

This is really a lovely butterfly. A blog friend was just saying that she hasn't seen the butterflies much this year. I haven't seen them much around here either.
It's hard to get a good picture of the butterfly, but this one is a beauty.
