Skies so pretty it almost hurts....

The sky was wonderful to watch all day, but these are all from the late afternoon, evening.

All except the top photo are from the strip pit area.

Every direction was a different sort of view....I even took some short videos to show it, but they were handheld and not very steady.

Yes, there was even a rainbow of sorts...and no, it had not rained.  It was there a long time...

I zoomed in a bit for this one...

I just had to take another photo of these clouds...the same ones as the second picture, I had just moved on farther east.

I will stop with this one...I hope you enjoyed them.

The second cloud and the last cloud are my favorites. They are spectacular!!! the last one has a straight line all the way through it, and the second one has the most unusual shape, like it is trying to cover everything.

These are just beautiful!

Those scenes, with their flat landscape and wide skies could have been taken around here, though more often than not our skies are grey and featureless.

Hello, they are beautiful skies. I love these kinds of clouds, they make the sky so much more interesting. The rainbow is a lovely capture.

Have a happy day!

All are awesome, but I truly LOVE the perspective of the 2nd one from the top...the straight rod leading to the horizon and beauty beyond!!

these skies are stunning and different, the sky appears to be floating way up above the land and trees. so beautiful

I love cloud watching. These images, Rose, are so achingly beautiful. We have not had a cloud in the sky for so long---well maybe a tiny one but no beauties like you have shown. We NEED clouds and we NEED rain

Beautiful skies. I especially like the road picture. I believe that when we see a rainbow it is a gift. Thank you for the gift of the rainbow I received on your blog, Rose. : )

Beautiful skies! Quite like ours, but we had more of the dark grey ones that brought showers - repeatedly!
