Other than being cropped and reducing the size, this is straight out of the camera...the one below I have used the HDR effect and the boost.
When I use the effects, I always go easy in using them.
Again the top is straight out of the camera...it has not been cropped or anything.
I only used the HDR effect on the second one. Might as well add this one...its head is cocked just a little different.
I hope you don't mind a repeat...there is just something about birds of prey that I love to see.If I can remember, I am going to link to I'd Rather B Birdin'....

Fierce! The HDR makes such a big difference, yet you would never know it was used.
these are fine pictures!
Hello, it is a beautiful raptor. Great series of photos.
Enjoy your day and weekend!
he is awesome as are your photos. with or without HDR they are gorgeous. I like how the HDR shows every single detail
They are noble looking birds who have personalities. A very nice series.
How beautiful! I hope you are both doing alright! Take care!
I, too, admire birds of prey, they are so majestic! I love your photos. I think the filter brings out the white, so pretty.
I don't mind a repeat at all Rose. Lovely to see this amazing bird.
This trip must hold very special memories for you.

Great pictures . I can’t wait to get out and capture some hawk shots.
Excellent. I go easy on the enhancements too, except once in a while. Then I add a texture so it looks like a painting.
