These are from a wet, wet day back in 2009.

I wonder how you feel about the above shot.  I think it one that is definitely better if you view the expanded view.  Both are from the same day in July....so the horses were probably enjoying the cool rain.

And I love the photo above...it was taken on our way home, through the window of course.

those horses look so wet I can almost smell the wet hair... glad you said it is July and they are enjoying it. they don't look happy though.. the view through the window says sadness to me. that might be because I am not a rain person...

It seems the young foal has not yet learned to turn its rear towards the wind as older horses always do.

The mom and colt look very good. The other shot is a good one with which to experiment.

They do look like soaked horses. I tried a window shot last week and I was surprised that it did take. Your horse shot is g good with them posing in opposite direction.

The horses don't look like they are enjoying being wet!
I like the water drops in the picture but it does look bleak.

This last photo is so moody, and atmospheric. Does it's job as art by evoking feelings!

I've been taking many pictures through the window too, cause it's raining a lot here. The horse photo is nice, and I always stop for horses. : )

Happy March days to you, Rose.

I adore both photos. I can only imagine how good the cool rain felt to those horses on a hot summer day. I hope you are having a good day.

Those horses look drenched, but if it was a very hot day, they were probably enjoying the cool shower.
