The eagle has landed...for the night. That is what I say when Lorelei gets here to spend the night. She came this afternoon, and after her dad left she says oh, Mamaw I got something to show you. Below are a few from her evening photo session on the drive home from Indianapolis the other night.
Enjoy!
For some of the newer visitors to my blog, Lorelei is my 10 yr. old granddaughter.
A bit grainy but still a fine shot...
I sooooo love this one...
If you don't do it for any other, click to expand the view...she kept apologizing for this above being blurry, but to me it almost adds to it.
Also, keep in mind these are all from her phone, which I think is just an old phone of her mom's.
I could not have done any better myself. And the funny thing is, I didn't have to 'straighten' any of them. Which in the past few years, I have to straighten a lot of my own.
She took this because of the fog/mist rising. It is one of my favorites.
And below is one from another day.
That is her mom resting on the couch...and look at Lorelei's dog and kitty...both are zonked out. And the animals do sure love her.

Lorelei has a good eye for pictures.
She takes after you! Her pictures are really splendid! My faves are four, five, and the mist. She is really talented at photography, and has an eye for beauty! You made your beautiful flower a header, hurrah!
Really good photos all of them. And no straightening - I'm always straightening my landscapes, one of the problems of living in such a flat landscape. Look at lots of pictures, Lorelei, and try to copy what you like about them. And take some more to show us here.
I like these very much. Lorelei gets a gold star from me!
She's quite the photographer already. These are wonderful. I like the blur in the picture. Love the one with the fog and the sunset is beautiful
Belos céus e gostei de ver o sono dos belos animais, aproveito para desejar a continuação de uma boa semana.

Lorelei takes after you with her photography. I love all the photos. I like the fog in the one photo. And of course those precious fur babies.
I think the misty morning pic is my favorite. Lorelei has developed your love of picture taking. This post makes my heart happy.

Hello,
Lorelei's photos are beautiful. Lovely sky shot. I love the furbabies too.
Happy Thursday, enjoy your day! Have a happy weekend ahead.
Looks like we have a great photographer in the making! At only 10, she'll be beyond my capabilities soon! Great header photo. :-)
Her photos are all very good. Even the blurry ones make good pictures. She takes great photos.
Your grand daughter has done an amazing job. The sunset photos are so beautiful.
It’s a very fine series including the Blurry one which makes a form of abstract. ‘10 years old now.... amazing. I’m
yaaaaay, Lorelei is getting into Photography. That's wonderful. And that last picture is really something. So happy she is taking an interest in taking pictures Rose.

Her pictures are beautiful. I love the colors in the sky. Such a cute image with the dog and kitty sleeping!
These are lovely photographs taken by Lorelei... well done :)
All the best Jan
