Summer beauty...


My friend calls them Ditch Lilies...I think it fits.

Like the sun is bursting out from the center. We call them Day Lilies, because each bloom lasts one day.

I can tell it's a lily, but I wouldn't know what kind. It's pretty. :)

I discovered that the skunk cabbage I put on for Saturday is related to cala lilies and philodendrons Same basic family. Lovely picture!!

My mother loved these. She called 'em day lilies...but ditch lilies, as you say...fits!

Some people even call them weeds. I think that they are beautiful. They brighten up the most unsuspecting places, like ditches! A gorgeous image!

We have a few of these in the "ditch" in front of our house!!! They are almost ready to bloom. I love them!
