A sign of the times...
We were at the swamp area for a few minutes today...it is always the first place I notice leaves turning. A few of the trees were beginning to turn, but for some reason I can never get a good photo of them.

REALLY??? But we are in a heat wave!! Seems it has never been cold enough for the leaves to turn. How amazing!
Is it unusually early for them to start turning? Ours start a lot later.
Time waits for no one. Another season is passing. Good shot of the yellow leaf.

Oh don't..! I just said to dad at the weekend that I thought the leaves on the cherry were showing a 'turn'!!! And it's not even August. YAM xx
Usually I am a bit disheartened when I see the first turning leaves-- this year I just want it to be November 4th so badly, I welcome them.
Just in the last few days, I've noticed some of our trees are losing their leaves. As bad as this year has been with Covid-19, it does seem to be going by fast. I always look forward to Autumn.
It seems like it's far too early for leaves to be turning already but then if you look at the calendar it's almost August. I like the colors on this one.
Good morning,
we are seeing leaves turning here too, but I think it is due to our area being so dry. We need rain. Pretty leaf! Take care, enjoy your day!
One of the seasonal wonders I've been dying to see aside from Snowfall, Leaves turning colors! We have no Autumn and Winter and Spring here in the tropics so these things are very foreign and are fantasies for me dearest Rose :) I hope you get to share more Autumn shots as the season changes there soon :)
At least it's beautiful and I love that little puff ball on the left hand side of it. I can't believe leaves are turning this early and with all this heat.
Autumn's my favourite time of year - but I'm not ready for it yet!
Hard to believe that the leaves are changing color already. Great selective focus as it's nestled in the grass! Thank you for correctly identifying the caladium. I credited you and included your link.
That leaf looks very pretty...the yellowish and pinkish hues are lovely...Yes...time to fall and for the fresh ones to appear in their places ! That's life, I suppose !
Devi :)))
I like how you composed this one
Oh no not already!!
I think the photo is very good Rose. And, like everyone else, too early? But, if it means an early Fall, I'm more than ready.
Oh but summer just started! I know that some leaves show early signs of fall.
Fall leaves seem very far off here in this heat. Lovely look at hope for the fall and cooler weather.
easy to find an individual beautiful leaf than to find a landscape full. The widespread color of autumn calendars is rare
The leaf is really pretty. A wonderful image. It has been so dry here that the leaves are beginning to dry up and drop off the tree. They don't even bother to turn color.
I am looking forward to Autumn already, Rose. Love everything about the season. : )

Autumn is one of my favourite seasons, I always enjoy seeing the leaves changing colour.
All the best Jan
Signs of coming Autumn. Yessss!!!!!
✨🍉🍓🍨🍑✨
No, no, no. I am not ready for fall. Summer has been too short. Time is messed for me. Being locked down confused my sense of time.
