Fall decorations...

We saw these decorations in a nearby town earlier this week.  I wish now I had drove around to approach it from a different direction.

They look like a bunch of hippies from 1969 to me! We don't see much in the way of Autumn decorations around here; we do have Scarecrow Festivals but they seem to occur at random times throughout summer.

What cute scarecrows. Years ago I used to get bales of hay to use to decorate outside. Now I can't be bothered.

I love these decorations, to me it says “fall”.

The thing I like the best about the Scarecrow family is that they look happy. Not scary not sad not horrifying but happy

Festive and fun!

What's a gathering of scarecrows called I wonder? I used to decorate also but not anymore, sad but true. 💖

Not much decorating up here on this mountain. Next year little Corey will be a year older and have a better idea what Halloween is all about. I think right now it would scare him. I went to WM and bought a skellie that plays the banjo. He's not too interested in it beyond laughing when I turn it on.

Ready for Halloween! A very neat shot of the characters.

I don't do much decorating for fall. I don't want to interfere with what Mother Nature has going on, for she is better at it than I am. However, it is fun to look at all the creative displays people put up.

Delightful scarecrows, Rose. They have always been a part of Autumn's décor.

Have a restful weekend. ; )
