Nesting?

I am not sure if they are going to nest there or if they are just enjoying the sunshine.  They were so far away I did not notice the pair at the bottom till I downloaded the picture.  If you are not careful you  might miss one of the pair at the bottom.  And I for sure did not see the turtle.

Beautiful! I found the one at the bottom. It’s colors were a good camouflage. Never did spot the turtle!

The colors of the one at the bottom really camouflaged it well. Never did spot the turtle.

Maybe they are trying to decide if this is the right neighbourhood for them.

Unless you look well, the others are hidden. Great capture!

It certainly looks like a nest. I noticed one of the second pair but missed the other till you prompted me to take another look. Oh yes, a turtle too!

I think they would have a much more secluded nest-- That spot seems pretty busy. The shiny shell made me catch the turtle pretty quickly. Nice shot.

The turtle looks like debris until you enlarge the photo. I'm thinking it's just a resting spot.

If you had not mentioned the pair at the bottom I would not have seen them. Your eye is automatically drawn to the the two at the top.

They seem to be thinking pretty hard about this being just the right spot to nest. Excellent capture of the pair and their friends.

Great capture. AT this time of year, nesting is most often on their mind, i'm sure.

Looks like a great place for their nest.
I saw the second pair and the turtle but only after you mentioned it.
Great bonus to get them in the picture.

I wouldn't have seen the pair at the bottom if you hadn't told me. I think I see the turtle.

Beautiful pair and yes, I would have missed the other if you had not mentioned it.

They nest in the strangest places... beside the road, on an island dividing a road. Hopefully, they have picked this nice spot for their nest. A lovely view of this pair.

I almost missed the pair at the bottom....and the turtle. Glad you pointed them out. This is a lovely photo, Rose. Yes, it does look like a nest, doesn't it?
