Must be the name of the barn...but who knows WHY? Maybe it was built on an ancient burial mound!

that is a very odd thing to have painted on a barn. that said, I like this barn, shape, color and conditon and the meadow of flowers too
There's an ancient burial ground (mound) that's inside the barn. The barn is just to hide what really is inside. :-) I am sure it has left many thinking.

Good thing you don't know what it means!! Before posting a comment here, I went to Google Guru and searched "The Mound" Phew!!! a couple of definitions did sound macabre.
Whoever who it was who said "Ignorance is Bliss" deserves the Nobel Prize :))))

Maybe the barn is built on a mound of earth. But I love the image!
