Mourning dove


 I took three or four photos of this dove and they all have this weird look...do you see what I mean?   They were taken in the middle of the day.

That one looks like a wood carving, beautifully painted. I don't know if that's what you are seeing, but--- it's remarkable.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by the weird look. We've always had a lot of these around here. I don't see as many in my yard since I don't fill the feeders any more though.

I've always liked mourning doves.
Not sure what you mean by weird. Maybe the lighting. I do see a spot by his neck.

Oh, the precious mourning dove. They have been visiting me often this Spring - they fly in my front yard, pick up a few goodies from the ground, and fly away.
