A beautiful portrait. This is a gorgeous swan! They always just look so elegant!
They are extraordinary creatures. If they were a little less ubiquitous we'd surely appreciate them even more.
I haven't had the chance to be around swans much. There's a spot on the Columbia River, about 20 miles south, that attracts migrating swans each year. The stop on both sides and hang around for a week or two.
